Cooking with clams makes me nervous — almost as nervous as I felt for Star Jones when Nene Leakes delivered her verbal beat down on Celebrity Apprentice. It was so intense that Obama went and nabbed Osama bin Laden in order to interrupt The Donald’s show. Props to the President for sparing us watching three black contestants leave the show in one episode. I see a trend at NBC. Watch your back Al Roker!!!!

As the saying from our childhood goes, first comes love, then comes marriage, right. To that end, Rachel Ray has created a vodka sauce that she guarantees will get you engaged. If only it were that simple. Rachel, have you forsaken your fans in the LGBT community who can’t marry the one they love, vodka sauce potion or not?

Scarpetta Spaghetti Sauce 600x400 Scarpetta Spaghetti SauceWith all the sites such as Yelp, Menu Pages and CitySearch — not to mention apps like Urbanspoon — it’s pretty hard to gauge where to get the best restaurant reviews. Most of the time, the reviews are all over the place, making it really difficult to differentiate from a good restaurant and a bad restaurant.

Thank you for giving me a great year, but fuck you for giving those poor Haitians an earthquake, the Gulf another disaster and Charlie Sheen a bad hooker. (OK, so he probably brought that last one on himself.)

Every year once Halloween is over I realize single time is over and now family time begins. I know I know it’s 2 months until New Years, but it goes by fast.

Salam Aleikum! Not sure about you, but I love when the subject of religion comes up at dinner.  The second someone finds out you’re not Catholic or Jewish you get stoned with questions about your faith. So when I tell people I was raised Muslim the first question I get is “do you pray five times a day?” I don’t. So the next question is usually how can I call myself a Muslim? Really? I then ask them if they’re still virgins and saving themselves for marriage. Anyway, I’m getting pissed off right now so let me shut up before I end up like Theo van Gogh.

I once felt this pain that stretched from the left side of my neck to the center of my heart. I rushed to the doctor in a panic and forced myself to cough the entire cab ride. I once saw on Dateline that you could save yourself from dying during a heart attack by coughing. I begged to see the doctor and his lovely receptionist ordered me to sit down while she rolled her eyes and texted her friends. All the wrongs I’ve done in my life started filling my mind. The faces of all the people I have hurt, cursed out, gossiped about and made fun of flashed before me.
